I am looking for information about my uncle Malcolm Roberts born 3rd August 1934 in Paddington, London. Malcolm was the youngest son of Edward Hansford Roberts and Beatrice Mary Roberts (formerly Rogers). The birth certificate states Malcolm was born at St Mary's Hospital and the family lived at 46, Fermoy Road, Paddington. No one has ever mentioned Malcolm not even my late father. Malcolm has one sibling still alive and my aunt only vaguely remembers seeing a piece of paper after the death of her mother Beatrice stating that he had been given away. I find it hard to believe that information as important as this has never been discussed in the family. Can anyone suggest what I need to do to start my research? All I have is a birth certificate.
