Could I please have some advice with locating my natural father. The details I have at the moment, are his full name, date of birth and address at the time I was adopted. I've tried to look him up on the 1837 site - no luck. I've also contacted the General Records Office and again they have found no birth record for him. What do I do if he was born in Ireland or Scotland? Are there sites which could help me on this? His year of birth would be 1954......Any help would be most appreciated.
