Hi, Long Shot! I found Ggrampa Herbert Edwin Grant in Gumstool Hill Workhouse 1881 census Tetbury. His brother Alfred was in there with him. However sister Emma Jane Grant b.circa 1874 was not.
Might anybody have a record of her adoption? There is an Emma Jane Grant listed as a niece in the residence of William Cleaverly but the birth place is Northampton. ???
