Dear P., Having lived in Texas 25 years, and as one also searching for an adoptee adopted thru this agency, I learn that Texas has changed the laws and now mandates a register be kept. Basically, they 'match' those who register 'together'. Perhaps by contacting The Gladney Center (this is the new name now) of Fort Worth, Texas, one can advise you of how to join this register. I recently personally heard from a lady searching a 1911 birth and was contacted back with info that the lady had received pertinent info from them. The mother's name is still protected even since 1911 but other valuable info was helpful to my online 'friend'. My personal experience with The Center was one of communication with a very kind young lady who wrote to me several times and provided forms for registering which I forwarded to the birth mother of my search. She seemed to be the Coordinator and was very helpful to me through the mail several times. Hope this helps you contact them now. Good Luck!

Very Best Regards,
Lonna Marie Yates Taylor
