I read your posting and felt your uncertainty; however, I am answering to assure you that scoleosis does indeed 'run in the family'. I have this condition (a rounding of the back and shoulders), my mother has this, my mother's sister (my aunt) has this, my first cousin has this. This 'rounding' occurs over a number of years and is more prominent in middle age (like me).

And . . . I ask that you do not give up your search from frustration. One could not assume that your kinfolk do not want to be found as the law of averages alone ensures more and more contacts everyday with the mechanism of internet.

You have my friendship online and offer you that courage is fear that has said its prayers.

I'm pulling for you.

Friend Online,
Marie
