I'm trying to trace my birth family. I've found my father living in the County Durham area but have been told that its possible that my birth mother took my birth brothers and sisters abroad. My mothers name is Blodwen Profit nee Jones (D.O.B 20/8/23). She was married to Clennel Fenwick Douglas Profit at Troon in Scotland on 13 September 1941. They had six children. Brian Profit (D.O.B 31/3/43), Brenda Profit ( D.O.B 15/3/44), Leslie Profit (D.O.B 1/1/46), Margaret Alice Profit (D.O.B 5/8/47), David Profit (D.O.B 16/4/49) and myself, born Douglas Profit 10/12/50. I was the only one to be adopted, which was in September 1952. Can anyone out there tell me where my birth family are? Could they be a neighbour of yours? Any help in finding my birth family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any help.
