Would you know the procedure for looking up the adoption records? My husband's father was adopted in Story county, Iowa (his adoptive parents picked him up at the hospital), the father is now deceased and we would like to get more information. If I were to go to the Story county courthouse , would I be able to find the birth record with the birth parents listed?
