I am trying to research just last name only
on the California birth index. There was a mother's maiden name and the baby had just the father's last name.
The reason while I am researching is it is the only last approach to find my friend's biological parents.
He was adopted as an infant with no last name or first name. I am going on the premise of his middle name, and there was a last name born about the same time period on the
Calif birth index.
