I was adopted at 3 days old from Kokomo, Indiana in 1963. I have always had my biological mother and 4- 1/2 siblings from her in my life, so I know some of her ancestry. She has always said that my biological father was a man she met in the Kokomo, Indiana area in 1962 and that his name was Raymond Leon Green. I have since figured out that he died in Kokomo in 1996, and that he was born in Loudon, Tennessee in 1934 to Jimmie Woodroe Green and Elsie Louise Hooker. I've been told by his sister (my bio. aunt) that he was married at least 7 times and my mother was just one of his acquaintance. There was a daughter of his listed in Indiana (Carol Green) but I can't get her to respond to my messages. Also, on one of his Indiana marriage licenses dated 1968, he listed a 14 year old daughter in Maryville, Tennessee named Diane Green, but I presume she has been married so I'm not sure how to find her. I also found an obituary for one of his Loudon, TN ex-wives (Gladys Geneva Sitzlar...now Dixon), it listed 2 people (children?) with the surname Green (Darryl and wife Christy, and a Pam).One other marriage in Loudon, TN that I know of was with Lilly Isabelle Smallen in 1951.
