Are there any WAAF members or their family member who may have also served with the Civil Air Patrol in WWII? If so, the Civil Air Patrol WWII members are going to be awarded a Congressional Gold Medal.
The HR-755 Bill for a Congressional Gold Medal to be awarded to Civil Air Patrol WWII members has passed in the House of Representatives. A ceremony to present the award is being planned for later this year. If anyone was a CAP member in WWII or their family members may submit their names to the eligibility list to receive the Gold medal. Go to
