Found the info...from a historical Society in St Kew
"She was travelling from the United States Air Force Base at Stonehaven to Aberdeen when the RAF lorry in which was travelling hit a wall. "
Her Death Certificate states she died “1945 September Ninth 5h 0m P.M.“ (I take that to mean 5pm/1700 hrs) at the Royal Infirmary Aberdeen; cause of death you know. On the reverse of the Extract of an entry in a Register of Deaths is an extract from Register of Corrected Entries (Vol 10, page 57),which states under Cause of Death “Increased Intracranial Pressure Secondary to Fracture of Skull, Subarachnoid Haemorrhage and Cerebral Laceration (the result of being thrown out of RAF Motor Lorry when said Lorry struck a Wall)”. This was signed at Procurator Fiscals Office Stonehaven 26th September 1945"
