From the Pittsburgh Press, 8/18/1944 (Pittsburgh, PA):
Previously listed as wounded, Pvt. Theodore Cieply, son of Mrs. Tekla Cieply of 2209 Mulberry Way, has died of wounds, the War Department announced today.
