If anyone has any idea where I can get information on US Military Uniforms, badges, pins, patches and other identifiers I would be eternally grateful. I have one picture of my grandmother from World War II, however, I have been unable to find anything to help identify what branch of the military she was a part of or what role she played. Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!!

E-mail me at sjtrout2@hotmail.com, I will send a different email address you may use to send photos to. I will forward them to my friends who are retired miliitary, from the WWII. generation. They might be able to identify pins, patches, or style of uniform, or (?)

My mother was a WWII US Army nurse and she kept most of her papers and other misc. information. If you could e-mail me a photo of what you are trying to identify, I may be able to find your answer. I have two WWII pamphlets on insignias.

Have you ever received info on your posting. I just recently saw it. I have a form from my aunt's estate that identifies squadrons. She was in the WAFS.
