Ruth Marshall, age 92, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012.
She grew up on a farm in northern Wisconsin where she raised her siblings after her mother's passing.

She is a WWII Army veteran where she served as a nurse.

She enjoyed square dancing, gardening and sewing. She was also known for her legendary baking, especially her homemade bread and rolls. Preceded in death by husband of 54 years Donald G. Marshall.
She is also preceded by sister Myrtle Bastian and brother Vance Bastian.
Survived by children, Donald (Linda) Marshall, David (Heather) Marshall and Jean (Fred) VanPelt; grandchildren, Jenny VanPelt (James Frail), Michael (Danitsa) VanPelt, Katie (Will) Miller, Lindsey (Jason) Durham, Ben Marshall, Carrie Marshall-Lorson (Mark), Lisa Marshall, Brian (Josie) Beckstrom, and Aaron (Jen) Beckstrom; great-grandchildren, Soren and Linnea Beckstrom, and Olivia and Jonathon Beckstrom; siblings, Donnie Bastian, Ken (Virgie) Bastian, Alice (Harvey) Emmer, and Germaine Olp;
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026, where funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.
