My Uncle was in the 82nd Reconnaissance Battalion as well. He was KIA on 6 January 1945, and is buried in the US military cemetery at Henri Chappell, Belgium. He was killed just before I was born, and I am named after him. I have visited his grave in Belgium. I actually know very little about him, and would welcome any information anyone may have about him or where the 82nd may have been fighting on 6 January, 1945.
God Bless all who served, especially those with the 2nd armored, and the 82nd Recon.

Morgan
My father, Thomas L Morgan, was a lieutenant, later captain. Prior to his death last year, I was able to find out that he served in an M-8 armoured car: B25. I gave him an acurate model of the vehicle for his birthday several years ago. I had good luck visiting the 82 Recon re-enacters website: 82armoredrecon.com.

Ellsworth was my mother Helen Hampson's cousin. She was very close to Walt and Peg. She has Ellsworth army picture.
