I was born on March 13, 1946 (conception June 1945) at Amarillo, Texas. At birth my name was Wilfred Gene Farris, and my mother's name was Geraldine (Gerry) Farris. My birth father was in the Army, and believed stationed at Amarillo Army Airfield. Years ago, I was told that my birth father's name was John HOAD, but in recent couple of years found through adoption records that his name was shown to be John HOLT. My understanding was that my conception was part of a brief encounter between my birth parents, consequently my father did not know of my existence.

Anyone's help in finding my father and/or his family is greatly appreciated. It would be nice to know the other part of my blue print.
