I recently discovered a book that belonged to my Grandfather, Charles E. Miller, who was in the 741st Tank Battalion as a T5. The book is called "The Sad Sack" by Sgt George Baker. Just info on one soldier in your book. Emery L. Kerns was a litter bearer (medic) with the 741st tank battalion's medical detachment. he served with the 741st from the beginning of its inception (feb 1942- october 1945) his rank was private. Emery also served during The Korean War(june 1949-July 1952)
