I would like to find out where the military boy's from Kingfisher County, Oklahoma went to training camps during WWI. I thought I read somewhere that they went to Texas. I grandfather was a cook during the war and I can find no information other than his draft card (which held no information).

Check with the Texas Military Forces Museum (TMFM) in Austin. If he was on active duty in Texas, they may have his WWI service card on file, and could scan it for you.

Having a WWI Draft Registration Card does not necessarily mean he was conscripted, just that he was not already in the Military before he was required to file a Card according to his birth date. Seems more men actually volunteered than were conscripted. So having a card does not mean a man served in the military.
