Re: WWI - Royal Flying Corps - Personnel Records
I am not trying to be rude; but when someone comes in on someone elses thread. It can confuse and take away from the original thread. If you start a thread you will possibly get better results. You really take away from this thread. Just a suggestion.

Re: WWI - Royal Flying Corps - Personnel Records
Sorry about that. I thought the etiquette was not to start a new thread about the same subject. I'll take your advice and start a new one about this.
Thanks,
Kay

Re: WWI - Royal Flying Corps - Personnel Records
The originator of the thread. His information can get lost. You will have people looking up info. specifically for you; because they think it is your thread. Then they present what they find and someone then thinks it is for the originator and starts using it to add to what they already have.
It can confuse things; but this is not my thread and I don't want to confuse things. Take care. Danny

Re: WWI - Royal Flying Corps - Personnel Records
I too am looking for Pickups in ww1 RFC as I have been given a photograph of a young man with RFC on his badge. My family Pickups came from Haslingden Blackburn and Blackpool. Could you let me see your photograph please. Thank you

Re: WWI - Royal Flying Corps - Personnel Records
There is a picture of Doctor Pickup on my Snow/Bennion family tree site. My Doctor Pickup was not born in Haslingden but was in the Blackburn area and they did end up in Blackpool before the war but he was killed in 1918.

Re: WWI - Royal Flying Corps - Personnel Records
Following my last message, did you compare photographs and, if so, did they match?
