Classification: Military
Surnames: MOORS, JOHNSON
Pat,
There is a William MOORS with a military pension listed in the "State of Vermont Roster of Soldiers in the War of 1812-14," pub. 1933, but the war ended Dec. 24, 1814, not in 1815. Therefore, I do not know if he was your ancestor. Capt. Cyrus JOHNSON was from Berlin, VT.

He was not my ancestor. Please see details in subject box above. To order this VT pension go to
http://www.archives.gov/research/order/orderonline.html

or snail mail $3.00 for War of 1812-14 NY payroll cards and veterans' claims (post 1859) to New York State Archives Cultural Education Center, Room 111A36, Albany NY 12230.

Good luck,
J., volunteer
