Thanks so much for checking but I have subsequently found that William Moore served under Capt M D Denver's company. I think that was a NY regiment. (I found this on the Ancestry site...it said "D R of Capt M D Denver's Co Feb 16. I R Feb 28 and Apr 30, 1815 present." I don't know what D R or I R means.)
