I'm interested in finding out more about this regiment's service in the War of 1812. I believe it was organized in Genesee County. A g-g-g-uncle, Ebenezer Lawrence (1783-1864), served in Capt. Buell's Company.
Thank you,
John

I am also interested in this Regiment. Sam'l Sweetland, Serg. served in this Regiment--I saw a payroll record for him in 1814. I believe he may have died during the war, possibly the father of my 3rd Great Grandfather, Archelaus Spencer Sweatland.
