I'm doing some research pretaining to the De Watteville Regiment and I was wondering if you would be able to let me know if there are any Polish names on the 1814 Muster list and the deserters lists.
The reason as to why I am interested is that I am working for the Polish Legion in St. Catharines and they are currently working towards eastablishing a musuem that refelects the contributions of Poles in Canada. One of our major themes is Polish involvement in the War of 1812. I have already done some preliminary research and I know that De Watteville's Regiment had at least 520 Poles in it. However, I have never been able to get ahold of a complete list. I currently only have a partial list of about 30 names. I would be very grateful if you could take a look at the muster list you have and reply to me.
It would be a great help to both me and my research and also the research for the musuem.
