I just posted an old newspaper report of a resolution in the Pennsylvania legislature by a Mr. MILLER of Beaver, PA, in condemnation of Lt. Charles G. HUNTER (U. S. Navy), who killed William MILLER, Jr., Esq., of Philadelphia, in a duel. The General Assembly voted to ask the President of the United States to remove HUNTER from the rolls of the U. S. Navy.
This was scanned from an original issue (NOT microfilm!) of The National Intelligencer newspaper (Philadelphia, PA) dated April 6, 1830, and you can see it online here:http://theoldentimes.com/fordbart05241885oneidany.html
I hope it's helpful!
