It is for an Alexander McAllister . All I know is that he served in Captain Martin's Co.of Volunteers as pvt. July 1856 through Oct. 17, 1856 ib the northeaster frontier. Sec. Lt. Holaway Warman was killed and Alexander was wounded. He was born in Iowa and discharged by order of Maj. John D. Cosby. Thanks for replying. Dorothy
