That's a very poor copy Ancestry has. His occupation looks like it says "brakeman" for the NY Central Railroad. Wife's name is Laura and he lives in Syracuse NY.

FamilySearch.org now has images of WWI Cards and I have found that if Ancestry's is lousy, FamilySearch has a much better copy, as is the case with this one.
