Hi,

I realize this is an older post, but I thought I'd respond anyway.

Are you referring to the Chauncey Charles who enlisted with his son Thomas James, whom later ended up in South Texas?

Yes, I wanted to see have anyone has more info or pictures on him, or his wives, Emily Jackson or Eliza Hiltz. I have already seen the census for 1850, 1870, and 1880. I also have some of his military papers. I know where he WAS buried, no sure he is still there. Any help would be appreciated. By the way he is my great great great grandfather, and Thomas James was my great great grandfather.
