Hi,

I notice that you have both Becker and White in your Civil War query. I have John Becker, from De Kalb Co. IL and Ellis White, from Waukesha Co. WI. John Becker's son Edward Everett married Ellis White's daughter, Sadie Josephine, probably in IL. Both John and Ellis fought in the CW. I have no idea how Sadie and EE met. I really have no information on Ellis White, except that he was listed on an 1860 census of Waukesha Co., married Desire Kuney of Waukesha, and moved between Waukesha and LaSalle Co. IL.

This is a long post to ask you if your Becker and White are the same as mine....sorry,

Nance

I have a whole letter written about the Gale's. Down to the daughter of Capt. Charles Gale. I have Capt. Charles Gale and his wife's picture when they went to Paris, France on their honeymoon in 1839. Their daughter was the last Gale in that line. They then used it as a given name and I am the last one to have it as my first name. Ellen Gale was my great-great grandmother. She married John Harvey Fesler. That was my maiden name. Gail Fesler. I am doing a Fesler family tree and you can contact me anytime.
