I am looking for information on my gggf Philip J. Schlosser. Native of Germany, Born Feb 13,1835, emmigrated via New York 1835, lived 3 years in New York, settled permantly in Milwaukee. Civil War service as adjutant to 26 Wisconsin Infantry. Married july 22, 1865 to Magdalena of Baden, Germany. Officer of the Sixth Ward branch of the Second Ward Savings and Loan, officer of the Knights of Pythias, Member of the Robert Chivas Post No.2 G.A.R. Founding member and first vice president of the 26th Regiment Association formed in 1874. Died Feb 2,1906.

I would like to know how to contact any of the listed organizations or archive section of same, to search records. Also, I have no information on family prior to Philip and his Civil War service, so I am searching for additional family member. I need information on his wife and her family.
