Hosea W. Rood was in Company E. 12 WI regiment. He married Lizzie Munroe of Richford (d of Spencer & Lucy). He was a school teacher in Milford Wi. and I believe he wrote an annomous book about the 12th regiment. It is very well written and entertaining. It was dedicated to the grandchildren and on to help them remember. Is anyone looking for anyone in this company?
