I am looking for information on William Brewer who was born about 1814-1815 to Issac Brewer and Elizabeth Meade. He was married to Margaret Marcum in Lawrence Coounty, KY in 1848. They had a son named James Harrison Marcum. He was later married to Rebecca (Lawrence?). He served in the Confederate Army as a Serg. in the 4th VA Cavalry. He was alive in 1886. His father was in the Logan CO, KY Tax List is 1833. He had a brother named Lewis who married Rebecca Marcum. Any assistance appreciated.

I am researching the Brewer family of which many settled in Indiana but one, Benjamin Brewer was in Tyler Co, VA (now WV). Would either William Brewer be a grandson to David through one of his sons? Does someone know if David died in Tyler Co or elsewhere? Thanks for any info.

Steve
