I am looking for photographs of the old vets. So, if you have any or know of any I would be happy to add them to the book. I have spent the better part of twenty years trying to folow the unit from formation in Jan. 1863 to the last days at Apponattox.
Unlike the books by Dawson and Harris this book devotes a great deal to first hand accounts. If you are looking for a specific relative in the regiment I would be glad to give you what I have. In some cases I have fairly good documentation on some of the men. In other cases I have next to nothing. So, don't be discouraged if I can't help out. Keep on searching no matter how long it takes.
