I have a copy of Joseph Jacob Myers' death certificate b. 15 Jun 1840, d. 23 Mar 1918. On that certificate, it lists Mary Dominger as his mother and states she was born in Germany. No name is listed for the father, but states he was born in Germany as well. Joseph and Joanna had eight childred, two of which died in infancy, with one son named Francis Michael (Frank) Myers. He married Petra Ryan. They had a son named Joseph Calvin Myers, who is my wife's grandfather.
