today I discovered that my GG Grandfather (survived) had two other brothers who also fought in the war. (Charles) Elbridge Davis (b1836)20th ME Inf- Co A and William C Davis(b1843) 26th ME Co B. I believe William was a casualty ( or at least injured) in Louisiana - and I cannot find much on (Charles) Elbridge - perhaps a casualty of Gettysburg? I have searched for hours and hours now here on ancestry....

Any help or info would be appreciated...
