Thank you for this information. Do you know if your Reuben was the son of John and Mary (Polly) Winfield PATTILLO? The reason I ask is that I have run across other Reuben Pattillos. My ancestor was Charles Thomas Pattillo who was a brother to Reuben. I have a copy of the will of their father, John Pattillo (or Patillo) and Reuben was the executor.
