I found out within the last few years that different colleges are depositories (I guess that's the correct wording - maybe Glen can help us here) for different catagories of documents and information. Texas Tech in Lubbock, TX is for Viet Nam - and maybe other historical information, but they have a huge collection on Viet Nam, and Hill College is the same for the Civil War. Now, my cousin is the one who told me about Hill College when she was writing for our gg grandfather's information. But, the regiment information Hill College has on him is quite different from what Grandma put in the family bible and what is on his headstone!
