Would like to conferm my hertage to the cherokee tribe in Missouri.My g-g-grandfather was George Washington Cox and his son John William Cox and a James Cox were registored on a Dawes Commission Roll 1896 as being Cherokee and gave there roll number.George was married to Sarah Ann Snyder Cox and they were from Kentucky and moved to Missouri with the Snyder Family.George and Sarah had 10 children his son John William Cox was born 1881 in Missouri along with 9 sister;s and one of them was my grandmother her name was Martha Evaline Cox Taylor married to a James W.
