As I have already told you, his commission wasn't into the British Indian Army, it was into the British Regular Army, and it was into the Royal Artillery.

As I already told you,...the artillery units in the Indian Army were called the Regiment of Artillery.

He could of course have later requested a transfer to the British Indian Army, but it doesn't really matter whether he did or he didn't, because he will only have one service record, and his entire military service will be recorded in that, and as I also previously told you...

His service record for that era would be with the UK Ministry of Defence MOD and it costs £30.
