I cannot claim any great expertise in this but my reading of the card is he was discharged in September 1919 as a Leading Stoker from HMS Pembroke II which was a shore establishment. He then joined the RFR (Royal Fleet Reserve).

It looks like he served in HMS Calliope from 4 May 1915 to 13 May 1917. Which would put him onboard during the Battle of Jutland. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Calliope_%281914%29
