James..my father Geoffrey Francis Smith DFM, Service Number: 179252, was assigned to 101 squadron. He joined 101 Squadron on the 19/07/1943 and, apart from a week in Dec 43, remained in 101 until 17/03/1944. He was Flight Engineer on DV245 'The Saint' and his Pilot was Roy Richard Leeder..I have a great deal of information, photographs etc and am looking for more information myself. I notice that one of your contacts is a James Turner....not related to James Turner DFC, my fathers Navigator by any chance?
Look forward to hearing from you,
Geoff Smith
