hi i am looking for help on my grandfather sidney hodder
b1880 in tiverton devon england but he joined up in the
town where he moved to with his wife and one daughter which
was newport mon south wales uk.
somebody so far as help me but there is some thing i dont
understand that one person gave me that he was in holland.
and he was in welsh regitment 4th battalion his regitment no
77692.

but he was also on the silver war badge records
silver war badge no 503458 badge record infantry [shrewsbury].

list no j2401/1-2780 record group wo
record class 329.
his enlisted 11/12/1915 discharged 22/1/1919 age ar discharged 381/2 yrs old cause of discharge par392[xv1a]
but what i would like to know what the silver badge means
and was he injured in the war and what was his injuryes was
from mary smith nee hodder
