I am searching for any information on my maternal grandfather, Samuel Jones a British Soldier, who was in the Wiltshire Regiment. He was in Baird barracks in Bangalore in India between 1923 - 1926 and my mother was born in Oct 1924 in Bangalore India. He was not married to my maternal grandmother. His date and place of Birth is unknown. Does anyone know how I can locate his military records? Or find anyone who may have known him or anyone other family members who are still living?I am a beginner and don't have a clue who to write to.
