Spanish American War Death

I'm trying to find out if my GG grandfather Enos G. Moore, served and died in this war. My grandmother and all her brothers and sisters were told by their mother that he died in Cuba during the war. I haven't had much luck finding this man. I found his marriage record in Taliaferro County, Georgia and that's about it. He was born and raised in that area.
Any help is appreciated.

Could be, since his wife/widow? Odessa is living in her parents household with the last name Gillstrapp with a "granddaughter" Girma (Gina?) Moore age 8, in the 1900 census. Has she is married with one child born to her , one child living at time of census. So look for 2nd marriage for a date.

This has some sources not online but at a LDS Family History Center.
