Trying to Identify Walter Vincent McCoy's Spanish American War Service Record.

He enlisted in the Army in 1898. I know he came down sick and spent time in Long Island recovering from Yellow Fever.

I have a bunch of medals from my Great Aunt (who I discovered at age 89 through Ancestory.com) from all of his visits to the various camps and meetings.

I believe he was either part of the NY (Bronx) group or New Jersey.

Any thoughts on how to find his records?
