I am looking for some/any information on Alfred Moreland who as far as I know left sick in Pointe Isabel during the Mexican War. He was born in 1819 in Carter County Tennessee and died in Pointe Isabel Texas on September 24, 1847. He was in the 4th Regiment Company G Indiana Volunteers. If you could also provide me with some information on their mission to Mexico. I'm also trying to locate his grave site if you have any helpful information in this query.
