I discovered from the BLM web site that my ancestor, Christian Pabst [Papste], received a warrant for 160 acres in Carroll Parish for his service in Captain Glenn's Co., 14th regiment, in the Mexican War. The land in question is now in eastern Richland Parish.

My question is this: Is there a listing somewhere of the men who served in the Mexican War from old Carroll Parish?

Is there any way to search the catalog of the Louisiana Archives on line?
