My name is Joe Azevedo. I am the son of Bartola Castanon and Daniel Azevedo. My grandmother was Narcissa Castanon. My grandmother passed away roughly 18 years before I was born. I attended a Castanon/Azevedo family reunion in Colusa, CA sometime around 2003/2004. I remember my mom talking about her sisters Cuca, Eleanor, Frances, Mary and Theresa. I have four brothers: Daniel, Peter, Benny and Rick Azevedo. For some reason, I believe that my mom had a strained relationship with her sisters. I do not know why since she never discussed it with me. I have never asked my brothers about this. I have a strained relationship with one (like mother, like son) as well.
