The S.S. West Togus, was a freighter constructed by the Northwest Steel Co. at the Willamette Iron & Steel Works, Portland, Oregon launched January 28, 1919. She was built for the U.S.Shipping Board.

The above information will assist me with the research of the disappearance of my great-grandfather GEORGE EDWARD WEBSTER b. 24 June 1863, Tariffville, CT. He served aboard the S.S. West Togus in 1921.
