I only have 1 picture of my Daddy with his military uniform on. There are no letters due to the fact that he was married to his first wife during that war. My mother, his 2nd wife, really has no information about Daddy in the war other than he served in Korea. I am believing he was in the US military, but may also have been Canadian military. I have no living relatives left on his side to give me any indication. My ex-husband grew up military and he is the one who told me Daddy was a paratrooper. He has the pin on his uniform and the other pin with different colors, but it is a black and white photo and cannot determine those ribbons. It is so frustrating trying to find info on my Daddy. I was only 3 years old when he passed away. It is very hard getting information on him. He was born in Boston, Mass, but lived in Canada as well. It is hard to find out information. I am trying to get my dual citizenship, but need information on my Daddy.
