Attached are a couple of pictures of my great grandfather, Henrich Hoyns, in a military uniform. The pictures were taken in New York and dated 1891. I don't know when he immegrated from Germany but the information I have is he was born in 1853 in Badenstedt Hannover Germany. Is this a German uniform and if so, what group?
